Accessibility Statement
Everyone should be able to learn about our services and book a cleaning easily — online, by phone or by email.
1Our Commitment
Daniela Shining Cleaning Services is committed to making its website, online cleaning quote calculator, booking forms and customer portal usable by everyone, including people with disabilities and people using assistive technologies.
2Our Target Standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We test our pages with automated checks and with keyboard-only navigation, and we fix the problems we find.
Our website has not yet been reviewed by an independent accessibility auditor, so we do not claim full conformance with WCAG 2.2. Accessibility is an ongoing effort and we keep improving it.
3Accessibility Features
The accessibility button (bottom-left corner of every page) lets you:
- make text larger or smaller, and increase line and letter spacing;
- use an easy-to-read font;
- choose high, dark or light contrast, or grayscale;
- highlight links, buttons and headings, and use a larger mouse cursor;
- reduce motion: animations stop and videos are paused.
Your choices are remembered on your device when you move between pages, and the Reset all settings button restores the standard display.
The website can also be used with a keyboard alone (Tab, Enter, Space and Escape), shows a visible focus outline, offers a “Skip to main content” link, labels its forms and buttons for screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA and JAWS, and announces price updates in the quote calculator. It is available in English and in Québec French.
4Known Limitations
- Some short videos do not have captions yet.
- Content from other services, such as Google reviews, maps, Instagram and Facebook lead forms, is controlled by those companies.
5Report a Problem
If something on our website is difficult to use, please tell us. Let us know which page you were on, what you were trying to do and, if you wish, which device, browser or assistive technology you use. We will reply as soon as possible.
6Booking Assistance
Prefer not to book online? Call or text us and we will prepare your quote and book your cleaning with you, by phone or by email.
